Rights to Artwork Declaration
WrapJax LLC (hereafter referred to as “WRAPJAX”) acknowledges that all artwork created, designed, or modified for vehicle wraps, commercial wraps, window wraps, and any other wrapping services (hereafter collectively referred to as “wraps”) shall remain the intellectual property of the original creator or the commissioned artist, unless otherwise negotiated and agreed upon in writing.
By entering into an agreement with WRAPJAX for the creation or modification of artwork intended for wraps, the client acknowledges that they are purchasing a license to use the artwork solely for the purpose of producing the agreed-upon wraps. This license is non-transferable and non-exclusive unless otherwise specified in the written agreement.
WRAPJAX retains the right to display and promote the completed wraps, including but not limited to, photographs or digital images of the wraps, on its website, social media channels, marketing materials, or portfolio, for the purpose of showcasing its services, unless otherwise requested by the client in writing.
The client agrees not to reproduce, distribute, or modify the artwork beyond the scope of the agreed-upon wraps without prior written consent from WRAPJAX and/or the original creator or copyright holder of the artwork.
In the event that the client wishes to use the artwork for purposes other than wraps, including but not limited to, printing on merchandise, marketing materials, or digital media, the client must obtain explicit written permission and potentially negotiate additional licensing terms and fees with WRAPJAX and/or the original creator or copyright holder of the artwork.
Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the artwork without the proper consent may result in legal action and/or termination of the client’s agreement with WRAPJAX.
This declaration serves as a fundamental understanding of the rights to artwork clause concerning wraps and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, verbal or written, between WRAPJAX and its clients regarding the ownership and usage of artwork for wraps.
